For the Brazilian market, Jeep has presented an upgraded Renegade. The design and interior are unaltered, but there is a new special edition. Based on the top-tier Trailhawk trim, the Jeep Renegade Willys adds a vintage livery along with a few other upgrades.

As you can see from the decals on the bonnet, front fenders, and D-pillars, the new special edition is inspired by the iconic Jeep CJ Willys. Six color variations are available, including the special Recon Green that is pictured here.

The blacked-out top and A-pillars contrast with the 17-inch alloy wheels with five spokes and All-Terrain Plus Scorpion rubber.

Willys embroidery on the leather seats, side sills, and a standard sunroof are among the interior modifications. The Willys special edition, a 4×4 system with electronic differential lock, low mode, and terrain selection, is equipped with an elevated suspension and is derived from the Trailhawk.

The Brazilian-spec Jeep Renegade has only been offered with a turbocharged 1.3-liter gasoline engine that produces 185 horsepower (136 kW / 187 PS) and 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) of torque since the facelifted Jeep Renegade made its debut in 2022. All four wheels of the Trailhawk and Willys models receive power from a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Not all of the Willys-branded Renegade is brand-new; a special edition of the vehicle was unveiled for the 2019 model year. Based on the diesel-powered Longitude 2.0 4×4 vehicle, just 250 units of that version were produced for the Brazilian market.

With a 500-unit maximum production run, the 2025 Jeep Renegade Willys is less special than its predecessor. Starting at R$ 179,990 (US$ 31,795), the price is R$ 6,000 (US$ 1,060) higher than that of the Trailhawk. Jeep reduced the cost of various Renegade models in Brazil this year, but the basic equipment also decreased.

Time is running out for the Jeep Renegade, which has been around since 2014 despite facelifts and model year revisions. According to recent confirmation from Jeep, a new generation with a fully electric powertrain option with a starting price of $25k in the US will debut in 2027.
