Kalki 2898 AD Premise

With harsh governance and a collapsing society, the desert city of Kasi is humanity’s last hope in the year 2898 AD. From his unassailable stronghold known as the “Complex,” Supreme Yaskin rules with an iron grasp. Rebels like Raia oppose Yaskin’s autocratic rule amid this tyranny. Raia teams up with Ashwatthama, an ageless immortal on a mission for atonement, to defend Sumathi, who is thought to be carrying Kalki, the predicted messiah. They flee to Shambhala for safety from the relentless bounty hunter Bhairava and other threats. But they have to deal with treachery and a strong opponent in Yaskin, who wants to take use of Kalki’s talents for his personal gain.
