At the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, which took place in Los Angeles on Friday, Kelly Clarkson won best talk show and best talk show host, while General Hospital took home the outstanding drama trophy.
Susan Lucci received a Lifetime Achievement Award on the program that was hosted by Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner. During the In Memoriam section, which said goodbye to celebrities like Bob Barker, Billy Miller, and Jacklyn Zeman, Jennifer Nettles sang the song “Life is Sweet.” Additionally, Sonya Eddy, the actress from General Hospital who passed away last summer at the age of 55, was awarded a posthumous Emmy.
