Bollywood icons Salman Khan and Govinda, who previously collaborated in David Dhawan’s legendary film “Partner,” recently reunited at the grand trailer launch of “Dharmaveer 2” in Mumbai. The event, which took place on Saturday, was graced by the presence of Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Mumbai BJP president Ashish Shelar, actor Jeetendra, and several other notable figures.

Salman and Govinda’s on-screen chemistry and off-screen camaraderie are fondly remembered by fans. Although a sequel to “Partner” with the original cast seems unlikely, their reunion at this event certainly delighted their followers.

During the event, Salman warmly greeted the attendees, including hugging CM Eknath Shinde and Jeetendra. He shared a special moment with Govinda, exchanging smiles and embracing him twice, showcasing their enduring bond.

There have been reports of a fallout between Salman and Govinda following the release of “Dabangg.” Allegedly, Govinda wanted Salman to launch his daughter Tina Ahuja, but Salman chose Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter instead, which led to a significant hit movie. This reportedly upset Govinda, who expressed his dissatisfaction in various interviews. He mentioned that actors’ support for one another often depends on their own business interests and stated that he had no expectations from Salman.

However, in 2011, Salman denied these rumors, asserting there was no issue between them. He told Rediff that there was no reason for any conflict, and just because they hadn’t worked together after “Partner” didn’t imply any problems. He emphasized that their friendship didn’t require constant collaboration.

Now, it seems any past misunderstandings have been resolved, and the actors appear to be on good terms once again.
