Super Smash Bros. Ultimate game chief Masahiro Sakurai will uncover insights regarding the Nintendo Switch battling game’s next character on Monday, June 22, Nintendo reported on Twitter on Friday.
Sakurai recently reported that the following DLC contender coming to Ultimate would be from Arms, the 2017 battling game for Switch.
Sakurai’s introduction on the Arms warrior will offer an “in-depth look” at the character in an “roughly 35-minute video.” The livestream will air on YouTube on June 22 at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
Nintendo additionally affirmed that the Arms character will be the main new contender uncovered during the stream, a sign that fans should temper desires for a tease.
The anonymous Arms warrior is the first of six extra characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a component of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Every one of the six characters will be released for Ultimate by Dec. 31, 2021, Sakurai said during a Nintendo Direct Mini introduction in January.
The primary Fighters Pass included Joker from Persona 5, Hero from the Dragon Quest arrangement, Banjo and Kazooie, Terry from Fatal Fury/The King of Fighters, and Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses to Ultimate as paid substance.
