The extraterrestrial follow-up from director Denis Villeneuve has brought in $97 million from 71 foreign markets, bringing its total earnings to a robust $178.5 million.

With this, Dune 2, which features Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and other famous actors in important parts, has easily surpassed Cillian Murphy’s Oscar entry and Oppenheimer’s first day collection.
