Russia With a carbon fiber pattern design, Yamaha Motor has announced the launch of the R15M. Design cues from the all-conquering R1 and the iconic R1M’s carbon bodywork are reflected in the new graphics of this entry-level supersport. Modern water-dipping technology was used to apply it, providing a perfect finish.

The sides fairing, rear side panels’ flanks, and the front cowl all have patterned embellishments. To add to the R15M’s aggressive appearance, new decals are applied to the fuel tank and side fairing, and contrast blue wheels are mounted on the front and rear of the vehicle in addition to the carbon fiber pattern.

Together with music and volume control features, the 2024 Yamaha R15M also gets turn-by-turn navigation. These can be accessed via the Y-Connect smartphone application, which is compatible with iOS and Android. For the motorcycle to connect and sync, the rider must download and install the app on their smartphone.

The 155 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine of the 2024 Yamaha R15M retains its performance unchanged, with a maximum power output of 18.1 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.2 Nm supplied at 7,500 rpm. A six-speed transmission is mated to the powerplant using VVA technology, and an optional slipper/assist clutch is also offered.

A quickshifter, traction control system, and an all-digital, color TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity are also included in the equipment list. Priced at Rs. 2,08,300, the new Yamaha R15M with carbon fiber pattern is available for purchase at Yamaha’s Blue Square dealerships. All Yamaha stores sell the R15M, which is priced at Rs. 1,98,300 and comes in a Metallic Grey finish.
