Even though Hyundai debuted the little Santa Cruz pickup truck as a 2022 model just three years ago, it has already undergone a redesign. Although there hasn’t been a significant redesign that renders the vehicle entirely unrecognizable, the 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz still gets a number of improvements that make it more appealing and pleasurable to live in.
If you examine closely, you can notice that the new Santa Cruz isn’t exactly the same as the previous model starting with the styling. I doubt most people on the street will notice, but it shares a little more truck-like and boxier front look with the updated Tucson. Still, it’s good to know that the Santa Cruz is now available in two new colors: Canyon Red and Rockwood Green. More grayscale paint options are the last thing the car industry needs at this time.
Hyundai says that the upgraded off-road-focused XRT variant of the 2025 Santa Cruz is likely the greatest news. It now includes a new set of 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, a better approach angle, front tow hooks, a more unique grille and front bumper design, and a few other features that weren’t previously standard.
The infotainment screen and driver display are now 2.0 inches wider inside, making them each 12.3 inches. Updated storage choices, air conditioning vents, and controls are also included. Standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a new driver monitoring system to make sure you’re paying attention while driving. All other aspects, such as the available powertrain options, seem to have remained unchanged.
Hyundai has not yet made its pricing details public. Though you might have to pay a little bit extra for the XRT, it’s unlikely that the updated Santa Cruz will be substantially more expensive than the outgoing model given the absence of notable modifications.
