KTM 390 Adventure is set to launch in India on January 30, 2025. The new model has major improvements over its predecessor and closely resembles KTM’s larger adventure motorcycles in terms of design. The 390 Adventure features a beak-shaped front mudguard, a larger windscreen, wider body panels, and a vertically stacked dual-projector LED headlamp arrangement encircled by DRLs. A smaller tail lamp has been added to the tail area, which has been redesigned for a sharper appearance.
The new 390 Adventure is built on a completely redesigned chassis with a redesigned subframe. Its suspension system consists of a monoshock at the back and fully adjustable WP Apex upside-down forks up front. Disc brakes on both ends control the braking functions. The Adventure S version, which was on display at IBW 2024, has wired spoke wheels that are 17 inches in the back and 21 inches in the front. Like the one on the KTM 390 Duke, it has a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone and Bluetooth connectivity. The electronics package, which will only be available on the Adventure S, also includes cruise control.
The 390 Adventure’s motor is still powered by the 390 Duke’s well-known 399cc single-cylinder engine. This engine produces 46 horsepower and 39 Nm of torque in the 390 Duke, and the Adventure variant should have the same output. A six-speed gearbox is attached to it.
