Until the end of this decade, Mahindra & Mahindra has up to 23 new cars scheduled for introduction. In an effort to increase its market share in the upcoming years, the company will diversify into new markets and promote its current lineup of ICE SUVs while also branching out into EVs.
Three more new SUVs from the brand should be released in the remaining months of this calendar year.
1. Mahindra XUV 3X0 EV:
Although the rumors surrounding the XUV 3XO have subsided recently, Mahindra may still introduce an electric version of the vehicle in the near future, ranking it lower in the lineup than the XUV400.
2. 5-Door Mahindra Thar:
Based on an enlarged version of the present three-door’s ladder frame chassis, the five-door Mahindra Thar is anticipated to make its public debut in August of this year. With its off-road capabilities, this new model will provide greater space and features. It will still be powered by 2.0L gasoline, 1.5L diesel, and 2.2L diesel engines with options for manual or automatic transmissions.
A 10.25-inch touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a sunroof, electrically operated and ventilated front seats, automatic air conditioning, rear AC vents, reading lamps for rear passengers, six airbags as standard, ADAS, a 360-degree camera system, and other features are likely to be included in the Mahindra Thar Q Armada’s equipment list.
3. Mahindra XUV.e8:
Based on the XUV700, Mahindra will unveil the XUV.e8, an electric SUV, in December 2024. The triple-screen arrangement and redesigned two-spoke steering wheel will be found in the cabin, while the exterior will be faithful to its initial design. Constructed using the INGLO design, the XUV.e8 is anticipated to boast a stated range over 450 kilometers. It is going to be the flagship electric SUV from Mahindra when it is released.
