Happy National Day, Bahrain!
The present Doodle honors Bahrain’s National Day, a two-day public occasion in celebration of the country’s presentation of sovereignty in 1971.
To check the event, red and white lights are utilized to adornment everything from milestone structures to the nation’s popular palm trees.
Shown in the Doodle artwork is Bahrain’s red and white flag, which was officially received in 2002.
The flag’s two-shading configuration follows its origins back to the 1820 General Treaty of Peace with the U.K., when the flag’s white band was added to the current red background to represent the harmonious connection between the two countries.
