On Sunday, June 18, the founding member and percussionist of the masked metal band announced the news to fans via social media. He wrote on the band’s official Twitter account, “Unfortunately I had to return back home to be with my wife due to her medical situation,” without going into detail about his spouse’s condition. For the overwhelming support I received for the few shows I was able to put on, I am grateful. I’m so sorry I couldn’t attend the remaining shows; I really wanted to be there. Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of our family, as always.

He mentioned in the statement that he would be joining the band for a few shows in July, like their upcoming appearances at Rock Fest in Wisconsin on July 14 and Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio on July 16. “Hail Slipknot and see you soon,” he said.
Due to his wife’s health, the musician also skipped a few Slipknot shows earlier this month.

In a social media post at the beginning of June, he wrote, “I would like to take a moment to tell everyone that I’m back home supporting my wife through some health issues, and I’ll be back on the road as soon as I can.” We’ve been through this before, and as always, we thank everyone for their love and support.
