The bike is powered by a hydrogen engine based on the 998 cm³ In-Line Four Supercharged Engine, originally found in the Kawasaki Ninja H2. This engine has been specially modified to allow the direct injection of hydrogen fuel into the cylinders. The motorcycle’s chassis has been designed to accommodate hydrogen fuel canisters and includes an integrated hydrogen fuel supply system.

This hydrogen ICE motorcycle operates by burning hydrogen, offering the familiar engine sound and exhilarating riding experience that motorcyclists value. Unlike traditional fossil fuel engines, this process primarily produces water as a byproduct, underscoring Kawasaki’s commitment to carbon neutrality.
