The BMW M3 CS Touring is a limited-edition, high-performance vehicle that has been introduced to the world market. The M3 CS Touring, which is based on the M3 Competition Touring station wagon, has a redesigned chassis, improved performance, and reduced weight. With its twin-turbo inline six-cylinder engine connected to an eight-speed automated gearbox and all-wheel drive, this is the first station wagon to be branded as a CS.

BMW has made extensive use of carbon fiber components in the new automobile, as is the case with the majority of contemporary CS models. Because of this, it weighs 625 kg less than its larger sibling, the M5 Touring, which has a plug-in hybrid V8 engine. The new M3 CS Touring’s front splitter, air intakes, bonnet, mirror caps, and rear diffuser are all made of carbon fiber.

In addition to becoming lighter, the M3 CS Touring has a more aggressive appearance. It has yellow DRLs and a contemporary kidney grille style with red accents. Ceramic brakes are an available option, and the vehicle comes standard with 19-inch front and 20-inch rear forged wheels. British Racing Green, Laguna Seca Blue, Sapphire Black, and Frozen Solid White are the four color choices. The M3 CS Touring is adorned with a red-highlighted spoiler and a glossy black roof. Notably, there is no carbon fiber roof option available for the new model.

Features and interior of the BMW M3 CS Touring

With M Carbon bucket seats installed as standard, BMW has continued to use carbon fiber throughout the M3 CS Touring’s cabin. These are optional on the standard M3 Touring and have an electrically adjustable heating feature. Carbon fiber is also used for the center console, inside trim, and paddle shifters. The BMW Operating System 8.5-powered BMW Curved Display and a driver-focused cockpit are hallmarks of the M3 CS Touring’s cabin. A 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment display are perfectly integrated within the display.

The driver has a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel, and the cabin is upholstered in Merino leather. With a red center marker at twelve o’clock, it is wrapped in soft-touch Alcantara. Additionally, the M3 CS Touring has red CS badging throughout.

BMW M3 CS Touring: Performance and engine

A 3.0-liter inline-six engine coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission powers the BMW M3 CS Touring. With 550 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm of peak torque at 2,750 rpm, this twin-turbocharged engine produces 20 horsepower more than the normal M3 Touring. With BMW M xDrive, power is sent to all four wheels, and the vehicle can accelerate from a stop to 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds, with a top speed limit of 300 kmph.

The BMW M3 CS Touring will be produced in a limited quantity at the BMW Group Plant in Munich and will start at £120,600, or almost 1.08 crore.
