Early in 2025, the BYD Yuan UP, which has a cruising range of 311 km, will be introduced in the UK as the BYD Atto 2. It is a compact SUV that is all-electric and belongs to BYD’s Dynasty series. With a price range of 96,800 to 119,800 yuan (13,300 to 16,400 USD), there are now four trim levels available in the local Chinese market. They come in cruising ranges of 187 miles (301 km) and 249 miles (401 km). It is yet unknown how much the BYD Atto 2 will cost.

With a maximum power of 130 kW (174 hp) and a peak torque of 290 Nm, the BYD Atto 2 will be available for purchase in the UK. It is powered by a 42.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and has an official range of up to 193 miles (311 km).

With the exception of the BYD emblem replacing the Yuan calligraphy and a slight alteration to the chrome outline in the lower front area, the BYD Atto 2 essentially looks the same as the domestic model, keeping the Dragon Face design. The Yuan UP has a wheelbase of 2620 mm and dimensions of 4310/1830/1675 mm for length, width, and height, according to BYD’s e-Platform 3.0.

It is important to note that the BYD Yuan UP made its debut in the South American market as the BYD Yuan Pro.

The interior of the domestic model is beige and black, and it has a four-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, a 12.8-inch central control screen, and an 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel. Leather and suede materials are used to cover the seats. Additionally, the center console and steering wheel still have some physical buttons.

The BYD Yuan UP sold 24,070 units in November, up 2.0% month over month. Since its March launch this year, the vehicle has sold 133,633 units overall.
