The Qiyuan E07 (known as the Neo E07 in other markets) will launch on October 21, according to Changan’s official statement. On September 22, pre-sales for the car were opened, with three different variants available: the EV Max Smart Driving variant, priced at 269,900 yuan (37,900 USD), the EREV Max Smart Driving variant, starting at 249,900 yuan, and the EV Ultra High-Performance variant, priced at 319,900 yuan (44,900 USD).
The E07, which is based on Changan’s SDA architecture and comes in both pure electric and range-extended variants, combines aspects of SUV and pickup design. The car has a closed front grille, LED headlights in the shape of a C, and a wraparound tail light in the back. Its measurements are 5045 mm in length, 1996 mm in width, 3120 mm for the wheelbase, and 1640 to 1695 mm in height, depending on the model. It also comes with options for 20- and 21-inch wheels.
The Nevo E07’s interior takes a minimalistic approach, eschewing a conventional instrument panel in favor of a 15.4-inch central control screen and a 28.86-inch augmented reality head-up display. Additional features include a 300 kg load-bearing sliding tailgate that enables the car to transition between SUV and truck versions.
In terms of performance, the 1.5T range extender and the 231 kW (310 hp) rear electric motor powering the EREV variant. A 131 kW (176 hp) front motor is added as part of the dual-motor option, increasing the vehicle’s total output to 362 kW. With a single motor version’s 200 km pure electric range and a dual motor version’s 185 km, the battery’s 39.05 kWh capacity is sufficient.
With a single motor arrangement of 252 kW and a twin motor configuration of 188 kW for the front motor, the EV model has more potent motors. The vehicle has a range of 551 km to 1,000 km, depending on the type. It is accompanied by an 800V high-voltage charging system, which can add 365 km to the range in just 15 minutes.
The E07 is equipped with advanced driver assistance technologies as standard. Its NVIDIA Orin-X intelligent driving chip powers two lidars, five millimeter-wave radars, twelve ultrasonic radars, and eleven cameras. This configuration facilitates Level 2+ self-driving capabilities. The vehicle also incorporates satellite communication technology, establishing it as a high-end choice within the expanding electrified vehicle market.
