A small child regularly communicates with her departed grandmother’s spirit. Upon discovering this, the girl’s private tutor decides to help the spirit as well as the daughter.

In late 2021, Sonia Agarwal consented to star in the movie. Vimala Raman was initially approached by Shijinlal for a different project, but she was then invited to be a part of Grandma. Thirty days were dedicated to filming the movie in Kerala.
