In India, Kinetic Green has revived the Luna brand as an entry-level electric two-wheeler. Now that it’s available on online retailers, the official launch pricing has been made public. The Kinetic E-Luna, which costs Rs. 69,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi), has a simple, utilitarian design language but lacks all of the pedals that are included in the ICE Luna.
The E-Luna can tow up to 150 kg, according to the manufacturer, and its rear seat can be folded down to free up additional room for appliances. Its low seat height of 760 mm and weighing scale tipping capacity of 96 kg make it perfect for daily use and navigating through urban areas and traffic situations.
Performance-wise, the Kinetic E-Luna has a 2 kWh battery pack that is said to provide a 110 km riding range on a single charge. Using a portable charger, charging from empty to 100% takes four hours. Twin shock absorbers at the back and telescopic front forks take care of suspension responsibilities.
It has an electric motor positioned on the hub with a peak rating of 2.2 kW and 22 Nm, and it is supported by a tubular frame. The front and rear 16-inch spoked wheels of the Kinetic E-Luna are covered in TVS Eurogrip rubber tires. It can reach a maximum speed of 50 kmph, and two new battery packs with a stated range of up to 150 km will soon be added to the lineup.
Kinetic E-Luna bookings are now open for a 500 rupee initial token, and client deliveries will take place shortly. The E-Luna is now available for purchase on Flipkart and Amazon, and it has already begun to arrive at dealerships. Five color schemes have been created for it: black, green, yellow, red, and blue.
The Kinetic E-Luna’s equipment list includes split seats, a USB charging station, three ride modes, a digital instrument console, a side stand cut-off, and a contrast finish on the outer tubes.
