India-bound Seven-Seater Renault Duster Unveiled as Dacia Bigster Worldwide

The Dacia Bigster, an elongated variant of the 2025 Renault Duster, has been revealed worldwide and is anticipated to make its Indian debut in 2025.

Exterior

The sleek LED headlamps on the front of the Dacia Bigster include Y-shaped features, drawing comparisons to the Duster’s appearance. The absence of plastic covering surrounding the lower grille of the Duster is one obvious distinction. Along with a silver skid plate, the fog lights are mounted next to the bumper.

The Bigster’s hexagonal wheel arches, up to 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and black body cladding enhance its tough SUV appearance from the side. The rear door handles are mounted on the C-pillar, and the turn indicators are built into the side mirrors. In addition, it features a black roof option and silver roof rails.

The Duster’s tail lights and the V-shaped LED tail lights on the back are identical. The boot door has a massive rear bumper with a lighter-colored skid plate, and it has “Dacia” writing atop a carbon fiber strip. The back features a generally flat form, which is finished off by an incorporated rear spoiler.

Safety, Interior, and Features

The interior of the Dacia Bigster is decorated in two tones—black and grey—and is made entirely of sustainable materials.

The dashboard shares features with the Duster, including a 10-inch digital driver’s display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen that is angled toward the driver. In addition, it has a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automated climate control, and a 6-speaker Arkamys sound system.

With manual lumbar support, the driver’s seat has electrical adjustment capabilities. There are rear AC vents, a charging area, and a cooled storage compartment located in the center armrest.

It has a bench seat with a 40:20:40 foldable ratio in the second row. The headrests on all three seats are movable, and the center seat doubles as an armrest with cupholders when folded down.

The worldwide model has 667 liters of boot space and no third row. The third row is anticipated to be included in the Indian version, which will lower the boot loading capacity.

The Bigster has many airbags, a rearview camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking for added safety.

Along with the global-spec Bigster, a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol-LPG engine called the Eco-G 140 is now available. The Bigster is anticipated to acquire the same, as-yet-unknown, engine options as the 2025 Renault Duster in India.
