The Mahindra Thar Roxx’s entry-level MX1 model comes with a six-speed manual transmission and an amazing feature set. It is available with both petrol and diesel engines. 18-inch steel wheels, LED projector headlamps, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, fabric upholstery on the seats, and all four power windows are included in this version.

A semi-digital instrument dashboard, push-button start/stop, power steering, all four power windows, and important safety features including six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and an electronic stability program with BLD are some more highlights. Now for the MX3 variant: it comes with a 2.0L gasoline engine paired with a six-speed automatic transmission (AT) or a 2.2L diesel engine that may be ordered with an AT or MT.

This variation includes features including cruise control, a wireless smartphone charging pad, a rear armrest with cup holders, and drive and terrain modes in addition to the standard features. Along with a reverse camera for enhanced convenience, it also has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration.

Both engine and transmission options are available on the MX5 model, which is priced similarly to the AX3L variant. In addition to the MX3, this version has leatherette upholstery, a single-pane sunroof, footwell lighting, 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, LED fog lamps, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

However, the AX3L grade only comes with a six-speed manual transmission and a 2.2L diesel engine. The 10.25-inch completely digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, in-car internet, Level 2 ADAS (allowing autonomous emergency braking), lane keep assist, and other technologies are added to this edition of the MX3.

Though it only has a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, the diesel engine powers the AX5L model as well. The AX5L has improved off-road technologies over the AX3L, including CrawlSmart and Intelliturn. The top-of-the-line AX7L is available with both a diesel mill with MT and AT options, as well as a gasoline and AT combo.

The list of features includes a six-speed electrically adjustable driver seat, a dual-pane sunroof, a 360-degree camera system, front ventilated seats, a nine-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, larger 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels, and more. The only trims with a 4WD layout will be the diesel-spec MX5, AX5L, and AX7L versions; their pricing have not yet been released. On October 3, reservations for the SUV will open up.
