For new car buyers, Tesla is providing a free one-month trial of Full Self-Driving (FSD). Elon Musk also made the offer available to current Tesla owners.
The Tesla Model Y, Model X, and Model S configurator page has already been changed by the business. The offer of a free one-month trial of FSD for new customers is not mentioned on the Model 3 Order Page.
Following up on the FSD free trial update, Elon Musk made the following news on X: “This week, a one-month trial will be enabled for all US cars that are capable of FSD.”
According to Musk’s announcement, current Tesla owners who haven’t bought FSD will still be allowed to use it for a month. The price of a Tesla fully autonomous vehicle is $12,000.
Tesla appears to have made considerable improvements to its autonomous software, as seen by the company’s one-month free trial of FSD. Moreover, Tesla is being cautious with FSD version 12. Elon Musk revised Tesla’s delivery procedure in a leaked email, mandating that staff members give FSD V12.3.1 rides to new clients accepting delivery.
CATL Chairman Robin Zeng talked about the Chinese battery supplier’s partnership with Tesla in a recent interview.
Battery equipment for Tesla’s Giga Nevada expansion will be provided by CATL. At Giga Nevada, Tesla intends to construct two new buildings, one of which will house a 4680 production line exclusively.
The Tesla FSD will play a key role in the company’s upcoming models, including as the $25,000 automobile. Tesla might be setting the stage for future automobiles by making FSD available to more consumers.
