Two significant automakers have disclosed recalls affecting hundreds of thousands of cars this week.
A recall of over 750,000 Honda vehicles is being carried out because of airbag-related issues.
Officials stated in documents released on February 1 that the weight sensor on the front passenger seat of the cars had the potential to inadvertently trigger an airbag.
16 distinct Honda and Acura cars from 2020 to 2022 are included in the recalls.

There have been no recorded fatalities or injuries related to the recall. To have the seat weight sensors replaced, owners of vehicles can get in touch with Honda dealers. On March 18, notification letters will be mailed.
Meanwhile, due to the possibility of an electrical short circuit and an open tailgate, General Motors is recalling more than 323,000 heavy-duty pickup vehicles.
Certain GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado trucks manufactured between 2020 and 2024 are included in the recall.
