Tata Altroz Racer: Details of the Engine

The Tata Altroz Racer’s new 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which it took from the Tata Nexon, is its largest change. The motor only comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, but it belts out 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of peak torque. The option of an automatic transmission is not offered.

The blacked-out roof and bonnet of the Tata Altroz Racer, which has a dual-tone paint job, are aesthetic enhancements. The car’s roof, boot, and bonnet are all covered with twin white stripes. The updated model will also have new alloy wheels for a more aggressive look and a “Racer” insignia on the fender. Avenue White, Pure Grey, and Atomic Orange are the three dual-tone colors that the Altroz Racer is offered in.

Orange highlights, black leatherette upholstery with contrast stitching, and twin stripes give the cabin a blacked-out look. Although the model has many extras, such as an electric sunroof, a digital instrument console, ventilated front seats, cruise control, a 360-degree camera, and more, the dashboard stays the same.
