Skoda Auto India has announced that its eagerly awaited compact SUV, the Kylaq, will begin customer deliveries on January 27, 2025. This date aligns with its grand unveiling at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. With a starting price of ₹7.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, the Kylaq aims to make a strong impact in its segment, and bookings are officially open.

The Kylaq is available in four trims: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige, catering to a wide range of preferences. Buyers can choose from five appealing colours—Olive Gold, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, and Candy White. The entry-level Classic trim offers an impressive array of features, including six airbags, traction control, three-point seat belts, a manual day/night IRVM, and an automatic engine start/stop system, presenting excellent value for money while prioritizing safety.

For those seeking added sophistication, the top-end Prestige trim delivers a luxurious experience. It comes equipped with ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, an electric sunroof, a six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and 17-inch alloy wheels that add to its bold exterior. Additional practical features include an auto-dimming IRVM and a rear wiper, enhancing convenience on every drive.

Built on the India-specific MQB AO IN platform, the Kylaq boasts a segment-leading 446-litre boot capacity, ensuring ample storage space for any journey. Its tech-savvy offerings include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an all-digital instrument cluster, paddle shifters, electrically foldable ORVMs, cruise control, automatic climate control, and a chrome-accented leather steering wheel.

Under the hood, the Kylaq is powered by a 1.0L turbocharged TSI petrol engine. This efficient three-cylinder powertrain delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
