Break out the popcorn. Retribution is an action film starring Liam Neeson that is reminiscent of 1994’s Speed. Neeson and his children are confined to an SUV rather than a bus, and he cannot risk getting out or risk pressure triggers causing the vehicle to explode.
Neeson, at a still-powerful age 71, has brought forth a classification of staying out of other people’s affairs fellow that is compelled to look for retaliation by conditions since his most memorable such film, 2008’s Taken. This most recent offering is an excellent addition to that list.
In the movie, Neeson is forced to talk to an unknown person on his cell phone, who sends him all over the city to carry out a series of violent demands.
The film incorporates appearances from Matthew Modine, Noma Dumezweni, Jack Champion, Lilly Aspell and Embeth Davidtz.
Revenge, from Lionsgate and Side of the road Attractions, is in theaters Aug. 25. Check out the video above.
