Mike Flanagan’s highly regarded horror thriller will make its theatrical debut in the United States thanks to Shout! Studios. This is in response to the recent news that the film will be released on November 26 in 4K and Blu-ray collector’s edition. To finally bring the invasion thriller to the big screen, Shout! Studios has teamed up with Trevor Macy’s Intrepid Pictures, Flanagan, and Blumhouse.

The 2016 critically acclaimed film Hush has been completely restored for its US theatrical debut. A Q&A session with the film’s co-writer and lead actress, Kate Siegel, as well as the award-winning writer and director will also be included in the future event. It is scheduled to take place following the film at Vidiots in Eagle Rock, California, and will be streamed live to a few theaters around the country.

When is the Hush theatrical release date?

Hush will be heading to US theaters starting October 16 at 6:30 pm PT (9:30 pm ET). Per the synopsis, Hush is described as a “gripping horror thriller” that “centers on a deaf writer who has retreated into the woods to live a solitary life. She must fight for her life in silence when a masked killer appears at her window.”

Apart from Siegel, Hush also starred John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane), Samantha Sloyan (Grey’s Anatomy), and Michael Trucco (The Fall of the House of Usher).

The motion pictures that have made Flanagan most famous are Oculus, Before I Wake, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Gerald’s Game, and Doctor Sleep. In addition, the director has received praise for his television work, which includes The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, The Midnight Club, and The Fall of the House of Usher.

On October 16, Hush opens in theaters across the United States.
