Trailer For Touken Ranbu Kai Prequel Film Featuring Okurikara Released

The official Animation YouTube account has released a new character trailer for “Touken Ranbu Kai: Douden Chikashi Haberau Monora,” their upcoming prequel movie. This clip introduces us to Okurikara, a new character that will be portrayed by Makoto Furukawa. Okurikara is a cool-headed swordsman with a serious expression on his face.

As part of a daily upload schedule, this is character trailer number five for the upcoming prequel movie. There will be six total. Beginning on August 5th, the Animation YouTube channel unveiled the schedule; thus far, four more characters have been made public. In terms of voice acting, Shingaki Tarusuke will play Heshikiri Hasebe; Soma Saito will play Tsurumaru Kuninaga; Takuya Sato will play Shokudaikiri Mitsutada; and Tooru Sakurai will play Doudanuki Masakuni.

There are six character trailers in total, so this is the fifth one. That indicates there will be at least one more coming shortly.

The film itself is scheduled for release in Japan on August 16 and may become accessible for viewing internationally at a later date. Kazuya Ichikawa will helm the picture, while Ryunosuke Kasai composed the soundtrack, Mari Takada designed the characters, and Kenichi Suemitsu wrote the screenplay.
