Cadillac is taking American luxury to a new level for 2025; the Escalade currently exemplifies it. They have introduced a “mid-cycle major” facelift as part of this endeavor, which gives the gas-powered model the grandeur and grace of the Escalade IQ.
The Escalade IQ-inspired front fascia of the luxury vehicle, including vertical headlights and slim turn signals, makes the improvements instantly noticeable. A bigger grille that, depending on the trim, has a different appearance, unites them.
Cadillac has made light a key component of its design, so it’s hardly shocking that the front crest is equipped with illumination. With an illuminated grille surround, the V-Series and Premium Luxury Platinum go one step further.
Retracing further, you see freshly available 24-inch wheels and upgraded 22-inch wheels. The latter are the largest wheels ever offered on an Escalade, and they come in three different configurations.
The interior of Cadillac’s 2025 Escalade will astound with its 55-inch display
It’s interesting that electric open/close doors will be available for the Escalade. The driver’s door has sensors to keep it from slamming into surrounding objects, and it may be configured to open automatically as you get closer. The door closes with a simple tap of the brake pedal once you’re inside. To help parents or drivers relax, the remaining three doors are similarly motorized.
Subtle changes have been made to the back end, including new taillights and a moved Cadillac crest. Along with updating the trim, designers also changed the exhaust tips and bumper. Aegean Stone, Deep Sea Metallic, and Latte Metallic are the three new colors in the updated color scheme.
An Interior Worthy Of A Flagship
Cadillac’s interior design team scored a home run with their all-new inside, which echoes the Escalade IQ and the ultra-luxury Celestiq, despite the fact that it was only a facelift. A 35-inch driver display and a 20-inch front passenger display are combined to form a pillar-to-pillar curved display that takes center stage.
A bottom command screen connects them and offers simple access to important car settings. A 128-color ambient lighting system, a column-mounted shifter, and a redesigned steering wheel are also included for the buyer. Additionally, you’ll notice improved materials and a more contemporary style.
Even if the base interior is a significant improvement, buyers want to look at the brand-new Executive Second Row package. It also includes retractable tray tables, twin wireless smartphone chargers, and a central console with a back command center. Additionally, two 12.6-inch screens and massage seats with speakers attached in the headrests are included in the bundle.
In relation to choices, the interiors are now available in Jet Black/Sheer Gray and Renaissance Red. Buyers of an Escalade-V, however, will discover plenty of carbon fiber trim and premium seats.
Standard Super Cruise, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto round out the highlights. Although an AKG Studio Reference system with up to 40 speakers is also available, they are joined by a 19-speaker audio system.
Two V8 Engines With Up To 682 HP
We did indeed refer to the 2025 Escalade as gas-powered, as you may have observed, as the luxury SUV does not come with a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six engine. Consequently, a 6.2-liter V8 now powers all variants.
The supercharged Escalade-V has 682 horsepower (508 kW / 691 PS) and 653 lb-ft (885 Nm) of torque, whereas the mainstream models are rated at 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm). Both engines are mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission, regardless of the engine type.
Along with the gas engines, purchasers will also get Magnetic Ride Control, air ride technology, and independent front and rear suspension. With the exception of the base Luxury trim, the latter is standard on all trims.
Pricing details will be revealed closer to the 2025 Cadillac Escalade’s premiere. Production of the vehicle will begin late this year.
