SUVs are currently the most popular cars in India because of their tough looks, luxurious interiors, remarkable performance, and other features. As a result of realizing how popular SUVs are among Indian motorists, automakers are increasingly gravitating toward creating SUVs that resemble coupes. Let’s examine the two incoming Indian coupe SUVs.
1. Tata Curv
The much awaited Tata Curvv Coupe SUV was recently unveiled at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 and is scheduled to go on sale in the next three to four months. The coupe-SUV, which has a length of about 4.3 meters, will come with both electric and internal combustion engine options.
According to the manufacturer, the Tata Curvv EV will probably have a range of 450–500 kilometers on a single charge. Regarding ICE powertrains, a 1.5-liter turbodiesel and a 1.2-liter turbopetrol engine are anticipated to be offered for the Tata Curvv. The ex-showroom price of the Tata Curvv in India is expected to start at Rs 15 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh.

Citroen, a French automaker, recently declared that it will launch the Basalt Coupe SUV in India. The forthcoming Citroen Basalt is scheduled to be on sale in the second part of this year and will be constructed on the Stellantis Common Modular Platform (CMP). Constructed in India, the Coupe SUV will have a length of about 4.3 meters. The Citroen Basalt’s 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, with 110 horsepower, will power the vehicle underneath.
