The 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 line, which offers significant improvements to the company’s flagship adventure motorbike, has been introduced in India with prices starting at 19.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Tiger 1200 2025:  Improved Refinement

The 1160 cc three-cylinder T-Plane engine, which produces 150 horsepower and 130 Nm, is still used in the new Triumph Tiger 1200, but it has better refinement levels and lower-end tractability. To boost engine inertia, Triumph upgraded the alternator rotor, crankshaft, and balance. In order to reduce vibrations from the motor, the engine has been recalibrated. When accelerating and decelerating, the low-end torque delivery has become smoother.

Triumph Tiger 1200 2025: Increased Comfort

The Explorer models’ damped handlebars and risers are transferred to the redesigned Tiger 1200 GT Pro and Rally Pro, which also have better mirror visibility. Additionally, Triumph upgraded the seat to make riding more comfortable. Because of its flatter shape, the seat provides more room and lessens tiredness during prolonged flights. An item called a low seat is available that lowers the seat position by 20 mm from the GT Pro’s standard 830 mm and the Rally Pro’s standard 855 mm. Longer trips will be even more comfortable because the clutch lever is longer than it was previously, giving riders more room for their fingertips.

On the Tiger 1200 GT Pro and GT Explorer, Triumph has also shifted the footpeg placements closer to the bike and lifted them to boost the cornering ground clearance. As the bike slows down to a stop, a new feature called Active Preload Reduction lowers the rear suspension preload, lowering the seat height by 20 mm with a single button press.

Features of the 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200

The revised Tiger 1200 series now has additional features. This includes Brembo Stylema brakes with monobloc calipers and the high-end Showa semi-active suspension system. Among other features, the bike has dual-channel ABS, adaptive cornering lights, a 7-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth, six riding modes, a keyless ignition system, shift assist, and cornering traction control with IMU.
