2026 Bestune Pony EV will be Available for Purchase: Features and Specification

The 2026 Bestune Pony tiny electric car, which costs between 34,900 and 45,900 yuan (4,800 and 6,300 USD), has made its formal debut in China. On July 27, 2025, the revised model was presented at FAW Bestune’s Fan Cooling Festival in Changchun, Jilin Province.

The updated Pony maintains its unique boxy form and is still a three-door, four-seat tiny electric car. According to China’s CLTC testing standard, all five models now have a standard driving range of 222 kilometers. The 2026 model adds “Cocoa Brown” inside trim and a new exterior color choice called “Snow Cherry Pink.”

Design

The 2026 Bestune Pony, an annual model update, keeps its box-shaped body with crisp lines all throughout. The front face has ornamental lower grille parts and headlamp designs.

Wheel arches and white side mirrors are visible in the side profile. Low-drag wheel designs are also used in the vehicle. A unified visual identity is produced by the rear design’s emulation of the front look. The vehicle’s dimensions, which are 3000/1510/1630 mm (length/width/height) with a 1953 mm wheelbase, are the same as those of the current model.

Insider Features

Inside, the 2026 Pony adds a new Cocoa Brown color choice while keeping its basic design language. Upgraded features include a driving recorder, OTA entertainment system updates, passive entry, smartphone Bluetooth key capabilities, a 10.1-inch smart central control screen (on higher trims), and DeepSeek intelligent assistant. A low-speed creep function is also included in the new model.

Power and Battery

A permanent magnet synchronous motor installed on the back of the pony generates a maximum power of 30 kW (42 hp) and a maximum torque of 90 Nm. When fully charged, the 18.11kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack has a 222km CLTC-rated driving range.
