Tata Motors is getting ready to introduce four new SUVs in India in the latter half of this fiscal year, catering to different market niches and pricing points. A summary of each of these models is as follows:
1. The Tata Curvv ICE:
When the ICE Tata Curvv debuts on September 2, 2024, the starting price (ex-showroom) is anticipated to be approximately Rs. 10.5 lakh. A new 1.5L Kryojet diesel, a standard 1.2L Revotron gasoline, and a new GDI gasoline will be the available engine options. 4.3 meters long, approximately.
2. The Tata Harrier EV:
A little over 600 kilometers should be within the driving range of the future Tata Harrier EV on a single charge. Its DC rapid charging support and bidirectional charging capabilities will increase its usefulness for both everyday use and prolonged travels. The exterior and interior designs will be very similar to the Harrier EV concept that was displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo and is intended for near-production use. The commercial debut of this much anticipated electric vehicle is scheduled for the end of the current fiscal year’s last quarter.
3. Tata Nexon CNG:
Before the end of this year, the Tata Nexon with CNG is anticipated to go on sale in India. It will use the same twin-cylinder engine as the company’s other CNG cars, so the boot space won’t be entirely lost. When converted to CNG mode, the current 1.2L Revotron gasoline engine will produce less power and torque.
4. Tata Punch Facelift:
The redesigned Tata Punch, which has been seen in testing several times, is about to receive a big update. The best-selling SUV in the Indian market will get updates on the outside and inside to bring it into line with Tata’s most recent SUV series. It’s possible that the Punch EV served as inspiration for the improvements.
