Nothing has sparked considerable curiosity with a newly released teaser video titled “Goodbye Glyph Interface,” hinting that its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone 3, may ditch the brand’s signature Glyph Interface. The next-generation device is expected to debut in India next month, and excitement is already mounting among technology enthusiasts and loyal fans. From various leaks and hints shared by the company, it appears that the Phone 3 will introduce a fresh visual design—possibly replacing the familiar Glyph lighting setup with a new dot matrix pattern on the rear, offering a distinct and modern aesthetic. This iteration is anticipated to be Nothing’s first true flagship, incorporating premium build quality and marked improvements in hardware performance.

According to @MysteryLupin, the Nothing Phone 3 will be available in the traditional black and white color patterns. It is believed that the base model will feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, priced at around $799, which translates to approximately ₹68,295. The higher-end version, offering 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, might be priced near $899, or roughly ₹76,839. These projections are consistent with prior statements by Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, who hinted at a pricing approach around 800 euros. The pricing information being circulated in US dollars also suggests a possible launch in the American market.

In addition to its new smartphone, Nothing is reportedly working on its first set of over-ear headphones, possibly called the Nothing Headphone 1. These headphones are expected to launch on September 30, featuring the same black and white finishes seen across the brand’s product lineup. Sources indicate a projected price of around $299, which is approximately ₹25,500 in India.

The design of the Nothing Phone 3 is expected to change significantly. It could adopt a circular camera module reminiscent of the OnePlus 12’s design. Interestingly, despite the teaser suggesting the removal of the Glyph Interface, some reports still point to its presence on the back, used to deliver interactive visual notifications for calls, messages, and alerts. The front is likely to boast a large 6.77-inch AMOLED LTPO display with an ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an exceptional peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The device is expected to retain the same polished black and white color schemes that characterized the earlier Phone 1 and Phone 2 models.

On the imaging front, the Phone 3 is said to include a powerful triple rear camera setup, each lens offering 50MP resolution, ensuring highly detailed and versatile photo capturing capabilities. Complementing this will be a 32MP front-facing camera, designed to deliver crisp and clear selfies along with smooth video calling performance. With its bold design changes, enhanced specifications, and premium appeal, the Nothing Phone 3 looks set to make a strong impact in the flagship smartphone space.
