New ICE and electric SUVs are among the many new models that Mahindra & Mahindra has planned.
1. Mahindra XUV 3X0 EV:
It has been rumored that Mahindra plans to release an electric variant of the recently released XUV 3XO by the end of the current year, placing it beneath the XUV400 in the lineup. One might anticipate a driving range of approximately 350–400 kilometers with this model.
2. Mahindra Thar Roxx 4WD:
Not all variants of the Mahindra Thar Roxx have yet to see pricing. The five-door SUV starts at Rs. 12.99 lakh and goes up to Rs. 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Only the diesel variant is available in 4WD configuration, which is more powerful and torque-producing than the 4X2 diesel MT or AT.
When reservations open on October 3, 2024, expect the prices to be disclosed then. The customer test drives will start on September 14 and the deliveries are planned for mid-October. It will cost about Rs. 1.2 lakh more than the equivalent 4X2 diesel trims.
3.&4. Mahindra XUV.e8 & XUV.e9:
Mahindra intends to introduce the XUV.e8, an electric SUV that draws design cues from the XUV700, early in the following year. Its outside will be very similar to the concept prototype, but its interior, with its triple screen arrangement and restyled two-spoke steering wheel, will be very different. Based on the INGLO platform, the next flagship SUV is anticipated to have a range of more than 500 kilometers. The XUV.e9, which is the coupe variant of the XUV.e8, is expected to go on sale sometime in 2025.
5. Mahindra BE.05:
Mahindra is anticipated to release its BE.05, which was teased as a concept a few years ago, prior to 2025’s close. Its range will be more than 600 kilometers.
