The native Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) platform Hanooman, which is marketed as the largest multilingual and most reasonably priced Gen AI platform, was launched on May 10 by Seetha Mahalaxmi Healthcare (SML) and 3AI Holding. The business stated in a release that it is available in 98 languages worldwide, 12 of which are Indian languages.

The business stated in a release that their “fully functional multilingual web platform and app built in India is now available for download for Android users, with the iOS app expected soon.” Hanooman is currently available for free, but later this year a premium subscription plan will be introduced.

Hanooman and 3AI Holding, based in Abu Dhabi, signed a 50/50 collaboration structure in April. In addition to its transforming powers, Hanooman’s features may manage a number of jobs, including professional guidance, coding, education, and light conversation.

Users will be able to access the Gen AI platform’s multimodal and multilingual features, which include text, speech, image, and code.

Four industries are the focus of Hanooman’s services: education, financial services, healthcare, and governance. It provides an open-source substitute for Large Language Models (LLMs), which are available for purchase. However, it will also provide a closed-source approach designed specifically for businesses who want on-premise solutions.

200 million users are the target audience for the platform in its first year of operation. In order to provide Gen AI enterprise solutions through Hanooman, SML India has teamed up with software industry associations NASSCOM, Yotta, the Telangana government, and technology giants Hewlett Packard.

Yotta will supply SML India’s operations with graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud infrastructure as part of the partnership. In addition, the collaboration with NASSCOM is intended to help projects like finance innovation, assisting AI companies, interacting with 3,000 colleges, and taking part in research programs.

Regarding the collaboration with the Telangana government, the goal of the relationship is to improve accessibility and comprehension of important documents like court decisions by enabling translation between Telugu and English.

The web version and app are presently available in 12 Indian languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Sindhi, Bengali, Odia, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Punjabi, Assamese, and Hindi. English, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and eighty more languages are among Hanooman’s global languages.

Vishnu Vardhan, Co-Founder & CEO, SML India, was stated in the announcement as saying, “We see Hanooman as a cornerstone of India’s economic future, unlocking the vast potential of GenAI to drive innovation, productivity, and prosperity across various sectors.”
