Vivo is planning to introduce the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, its fourth folding smartphone, to the Indian market following its global release. With the exception of the Indian market, this will be Vivo’s first foldable phone to be available there. June 6 is the official launch date of the foldable phone in India, as verified by Vivo. And now that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has made its global launch, we essentially know everything we can expect from Vivo’s flagship foldable phone-aside from the price.
Expected features of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro:
As a global version, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be the first foldable device to combine durability and light weight with a Carbon Fibre Keel in its hinge. It passed testing by ToeV Rheinland and has been certified to endure 500,000 folds for 12 years. The device has two displays: a 6.53-inch outer display and an 8.03-inch inner AMOLED LTPO folding display. Its features include 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, support for HDR10+, peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and resolutions of 2480 x 2200.
Vivo recently unveiled a teaser for the phone that highlighted its elegant appearance, ZEISS optics for the camera system, and amazing 236-gram weight with a folded thickness of 11.2mm. The carbon fiber hinge weighing 14.98 kilograms enables this.
It has an Adreno GPU and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for power. It also has up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. Its smooth user experience is guaranteed by its Android 14-based OriginOS 4 operating system. The 50-megapixel ultra-sensing main camera with OIS, 64-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and V3 imaging chip are all included in the X Fold 3 Pro’s pictures setup. There is a 32-megapixel front camera for taking pictures and making video calls.
Expected cost in India for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro:
Retailers both offline and online, including Flipkart and Vivo India, will sell the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. It costs 9,999 yuan, or about Rs 1.17 lakh, in China, and is expected to cost about Rs 1.2 lakh in India.
