After a worldwide debut in September 2023, the Huawei Watch GT 4 has now arrived in India. In the Indian market, the brand has only introduced the 46mm version.
1. Specifications of the Huawei Watch GT 4:
The Watch GT 4 has an octagonal stainless steel shell and a circular display. The side buttons of the watch have two functions: one is a rotating crown that doubles as the home button. The 1.43-inch AMOLED display on the smartwatch has a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI.
It uses dual-band GNSS for precise position tracking, and it features 4GB of internal storage in addition to 32MB of RAM. With normal use, its battery life is supposed to be eight days; when AOD is enabled, that number can reach up to four days on a single charge. The watch can survive swims and dives down to 50 meters because it is 5 ATM waterproof. The device is compatible with both iOS (iOS 13.0 or later) and Android (Android 8.0 or later), running HarmonyOS 4.0 as its operating system.
2. Features of the Huawei Watch GT 4:
With its integrated speaker and microphone, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 allows users to make Bluetooth calls right from the watch. It lets users create their own original designs and offers a wide range of watch faces, including dynamic alternatives like the Blooming face.
The smartwatch has precise route tracking and more than 100 training programs for fitness aficionados. Additionally, it features Activity Rings 2.0, which tracks three different sorts of data (three rings): Move, Exercise, and Stand. It also supports daily activity monitoring. The new Stay Fit app, which utilizes Huawei’s TruSeen 5.5+ technology to analyze heart rate and identify potential arrhythmia hazards, is also included with the watch.
The watch also has stress monitoring, women’s health tracking, blood oxygen measurement (SpO2), and sleep tracking using Huawei TruSleep 3.0.
3. Cost, Accessibility, and Alternatives:
At a price of Rs. 14,999, the HUAWEI Watch GT 4 will be offered in green and black color variants. It will only be available on Flipkart starting at noon on August 16. A discount of Rs. 500 on purchases is available to the first 100 customers.
The OnePlus Watch 2R (Rs. 17,999) and the Galaxy Watch 6 44mm (Rs. 21,999), both of which run Google’s WearOS, are undercut by the Watch GT 4 wristwatch at this pricing. The Fossil Gen 6 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Bluetooth/LTE (Rs 8,999/10,499) are a couple of less expensive options.
