The iQOO 13, the flagship smartphone from iQOO, is officially set to launch in India on December 3, as confirmed by Nipun Maurya, CEO of iQOO India. With this launch, the iQOO 13 could become the second device in the country powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, following the Realme GT 7 Pro.
Although the Indian variant’s specifications are yet to be disclosed, details from its Chinese counterpart offer a glimpse of what to expect. The iQOO 13 boasts a 6.82-inch 2K+ BOE Q10 LTPO AMOLED display with an impressive 144Hz refresh rate, variable refresh capabilities, and 2592Hz high-frequency dimming for enhanced visual performance. The screen is also expected to achieve a remarkable peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU and Adreno 830 GPU power the smartphone’s internal components. Configurations that support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage are probably included. While the Chinese version operates on Android 15 with OriginOS 5.0, the Indian model is anticipated to run Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15.
The camera setup is a highlight of the iQOO 13, featuring three 50MP sensors at the rear, including a Sony IMX921 primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 3x telephoto lens. On the front, the device is equipped with a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls. A 6,150mAh battery powers the phone and supports 120W fast charging, ensuring rapid recharges. Additionally, it incorporates an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a notable upgrade over the optical sensor of its predecessor.
The iQOO 13 is expected to be competitively priced, starting at approximately ₹47,000 in China for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant, with the top-tier model priced around ₹61,000. For context, its predecessor, the iQOO 12, launched in India with a starting price of ₹52,999 for the base variant and ₹57,999 for the highest configuration.
