According to reports, the fourth model in the future Galaxy S25 series, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, is currently being developed. With its official launch expected to happen later this month, a significant leak has emerged revealing key specifications and pricing details. It is anticipated that this new handset will feature the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor as seen in the other S25 variants. Interestingly, it might be the only model in the lineup to launch with a dual-camera setup instead of the usual triple-camera configuration.

According to a report from the German tech outlet WinFuture, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, offering a resolution of 1,440 x 3,120 pixels and supporting a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also said to embrace a sleek and lightweight design, weighing just 163 grams and measuring only 5.85mm in thickness, which could make it the slimmest Galaxy S series phone to date.

Constructed with a titanium frame, the smartphone is likely to feature both front and back panels protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It is also believed to carry an IP68 rating, offering resistance against dust and water, and may include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the display for added convenience and security.

The internal components of the Galaxy S25 Edge are expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor. It may also support up to 512GB of internal storage and 12GB of RAM. The program, which is based on Android 15, was most likely created using Samsung’s One UI 7 interface. In terms of photography, the phone could be equipped with a dual rear camera system, comprising a 200-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and an 85-degree field of perspective, along with an f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree field of view, and an ultra-wide 12-megapixel lens. For selfies and video chats, one would expect a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with an 80-degree field of vision and an f/2.2 aperture.

Additionally, the phone is said to have Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 7, among other cutting-edge connectivity technologies. It may house a 3,900mAh battery, though official battery performance figures remain to be seen.

Market speculations suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge’s 256GB edition would retail for EUR 1,249 (about Rs. 1,19,000) in Germany. The higher-end 512GB model might be available at EUR 1,369 (around Rs. 1,30,000), potentially positioning the device between the Galaxy S25+ and the Galaxy S25 Ultra within Samsung’s premium smartphone lineup. Titanium Jetblack, Titanium Icyblue, and Titanium Silver are the three sophisticated color options that are anticipated to be offered for the phone.
