The ThinkBook Flip AI PC hasn’t been officially announced yet, but a leak from Evan Blass has revealed its existence ahead of time. Known for accurately leaking mobile devices, Blass has also previously revealed several Legion Go products before their official launches, including a SteamOS-based version of the handheld gaming device. Given this track record, it’s clear he has insider connections at Lenovo. Otherwise, this product would have remained under wraps until MWC in Barcelona, scheduled for March 3-6.
At CES 2025, Lenovo showcased a groundbreaking laptop featuring a rollable OLED screen, pushing the boundaries of display technology. OLED’s flexibility has allowed Lenovo to explore innovative designs, and while the motorized expanding screen was an impressive development, it appears that a more affordable variant requiring manual adjustment may also be in the works.
Dual-screen laptops are not a new concept, with models like ASUS’s ROG Zephyrus Duo and Zenbook Duo having been available for some time. More recently, we’ve seen designs featuring two identical displays, such as the GPD Duo and Acemagic X1. According to Liliputing, the former is an expensive prototype with various technical issues, while the latter offers more modest entry-level specifications.
The leaked ThinkBook Flip AI PC takes a different approach by utilizing a single OLED panel that folds in half. Unlike heavier VA or IPS displays, OLED is lightweight and should allow the laptop to function normally without additional support, as indicated by the leaked images. The foldable design is expected to offer multiple modes, enabling users to utilize one-half of the screen, flip the device into tablet mode, or position it differently for various use cases.
Blass did not disclose any technical specifications, but based on the wallpaper seen in the leaked images-which differs from the vibrant “rainbow” backgrounds typically associated with Lunar and Strix Copilot+ PCs-it may not utilize these architectures. Instead, it could be powered by Intel’s Arrow Lake-H series, which features a less advanced AI system that does not meet Copilot+ requirements, or it might feature entirely different hardware altogether.
