Bose debuted the SoundLink Max, the company’s largest portable Bluetooth speaker to date, earlier this month. For 3,199 yuan ($451 USD), pre-orders for the SoundLink Max are already available in China, and shipments are scheduled to begin on May 31.
Features & Characteristics of the Bose SoundLink Max
With three front-facing drivers, two passive radiators, and Bose’s articulating array, the SoundLink Max produces rich stereo sound with deep bass. It is perfect for outdoor use because of its tough, IP67-rated enclosure, which is resistant to corrosion and UV light.
Its incorporated climbing rope handle makes it portable, weighing 4.7 pounds (2.13 kg) and measuring 10.42 inches broad. The speaker’s 20-hour battery life and ability to reverse charge make it possible for it to double as a smartphone power bank.
For broad device compatibility, the SoundLink Max employs Bluetooth 5.3 and supports SBC and AAC codecs. For high-quality wireless audio, it also has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound technology with aptX Adaptive. Last but not least, the speaker comes in Blue and Black color variants.
