Dell released the XPS 13 9345 laptop, which is powered by the Snapdragon X Plus, last month. At 11,999 yuan (about $1300 in US dollars), the machine is currently available for purchase in China.

Aluminum is used for the body, which is precisely cut using CNC technology. This laptop has a thickness of 14.8 mm and a weight of just 1.17 kg.

A full-size keyboard, a flawless glass touchpad, and a clever touch function bar that can alternate between function and media keys at will are what you see when you open the lid.

This laptop has a 13.4-inch OLED touch full screen with a resolution of 2880×1800. It supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 400 nits of brightness, and TÜV hardware anti-blue light. There are four speakers in total—two for high frequencies and two for low frequencies—for audio. A 1080p webcam is available for video calls. Notably, improved video calling is made possible by the new chip’s real-time noise reduction.

The gadget has the recently released Arm-based Snapdragon X Plus chipset installed inside. With 10 Qualcomm Oryon CPU cores in total, an integrated Adreno GPU that “delivers graphics-intensive presentations and entertainment,” and a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU that offers 45TOPS AI performance—apparently the fastest NPU for laptops in the market right now—this chipset has it all.

Because the chipset also prioritizes power efficiency, the maker was able to design a computer that is incredibly light without the need for a large battery or harsh cooling.

In terms of memory and storage, the laptop has a 1TB SSD and 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM that can reach up to 8400MT/s. Additionally, you can increase the capacity to 4TB.

There are two Thunderbolt connectors on the new XPS 13 laptop—one on each side.
