Realme, the Chinese tech giant, is preparing to launch its highly anticipated Realme P2 Pro 5G in India later this month. As the successor to the Realme P1 Pro 5G, this new model is set to introduce several enhanced features, including the much-awaited curved display that has been teased by the company. Alongside the official launch date, Realme has provided a glimpse into the design and availability details of this upcoming smartphone.
The Realme P2 Pro 5G is scheduled to be unveiled in India on September 13 at 12 PM IST. It will be available for purchase on both Flipkart and Realme’s official website. A promotional image shared by the company showcases the smartphone in a striking green color, paired with a gold frame. The back of the device features a centrally positioned camera module with a squircle design, bordered in gold. This module houses two cameras along with an LED flash, contributing to the phone’s sleek and premium appearance. Additionally, the teaser reveals that the phone will feature a curved display with minimal bezels, as well as a centrally placed hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera.
Among the confirmed specifications, Realme has emphasized the phone’s curved display, which is generating substantial excitement among potential buyers. The P2 Pro 5G will also support 80W wired fast charging, a feature that allows users to get up to one and a half hours of gaming with just five minutes of charging. It is expected that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset, although the exact processor and further technical specifications are expected to be revealed later this week.
While the Realme P2 Pro 5G is drawing significant attention, the company has yet to announce details regarding a standard Realme P2 5G model, though there is speculation that it may be added to the series at a later date.
