Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Centennial, a collector’s edition motorcycle, on Monday. The Hero Centennial motorcycle is an exclusive model that will only be offered in 100 pieces and will only be accessible by invitation. The domestic two-wheeler company stated that the motorcycle’s deliveries will start in September of this year, but it has not disclosed the motorcycle’s price.
Hero Centennial’s lightweight aluminum swingarm and carbon fiber body panels provide structural rigidity and aerodynamic performance. Every component of a motorbike, including the handlebars, handlebar mounts, triple clamps, and rear-set foot pegs, is carefully designed. The 158 kilogram motorbike has a 43-mm upside-down front suspension with damping adjustability and a Wilbers gas-charged, fully adjustable monoshock. The motorcycle’s alloy wheels have diamond cuts in them. The motorcycle is equipped with numbered badging on the side covers and a carbon fiber seat cowl made of milled aluminium unique edition. The motorcycle’s powerplant characteristics remain undisclosed by the OEM.
Speaking on the Hero Centennial, Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, said that the motorcycle was conceptualised, designed and developed at the Hero Centre for Innovation and Technology (CIT) in India and the Hero Tech Centre in Germany (TCG). “This masterpiece reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence. With only 100 meticulously handcrafted units, it embodies premium performance and craftsmanship.” he added.
