Honor’s new AI architectural layout, which was unveiled last week, is now available on the 200 and 200 Pro smartphones. Additionally, they are the first to launch with MagicOS 8.0, Honor’s version of Android 14, which is anticipated to be released in the upcoming months for the Magic V2 and Honor 90 devices.
While the global release date of the Honor 200 series is scheduled for June 12, Chinese consumers will have access to them considerably earlier. There will be two price points for the Honor 200: $370 (12/256GB) and $440 (16/512GB).
The Honor 200 Pro is available for $485 (12/256GB) for the less costly model and $620 (16GB/1TB) for the most expensive. There are four color options for them: pink, white, blue, and black.
The internal chipset of the two 200 series phones is the primary distinction. The Pro variant has a more potent Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU from Qualcomm, while the vanilla model has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.
Despite having identical triple camera setups, the Honor 200’s 50-megapixel primary camera use a Sony IMX906 sensor, whereas the Honor 200 Pro’s uses an OmniVision OV50H sensor.
Apart from that, both phones have a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2.5x optical zoom and OIS (optical image stabilization).
The phones’ 6.7-inch OLED FHD+ panels with 120Hz refresh rate and 5,200 mAh batteries that support 100W cable charging are just two more commonalities.
The manufacturer of smartphones confirmed that on May 31 in China, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro will be on sale. Regretfully, information on cost and accessibility for further markets is still pending.
