The Moto Razr 60 Ultra first foldable flip phone of the Motorola, was formally launched in India on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. Serving as the direct successor to the Moto Razr 50 Ultra, which debuted in 2024, the Razr 60 Ultra arrives ahead of other expected foldable devices from major players like Samsung, Google, and more. Motorola expands its market share in the high-end foldable phone segment with this new release.
The Moto Razr 60 Ultra is equipped with a 4-inch external LTPO flexible pOLED cover display, featuring an impressive refresh rate of up to 165Hz and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The cover screen is shielded by Corning Gorilla Ceramic Glass, ensuring enhanced durability and protection against everyday wear and tear. On the inside, the phone reveals a larger 6.96-inch LTPO AMOLED primary display, which also offers up to 165Hz refresh rate and an extraordinary peak brightness of 4,500 nits. With its support for Dolby Vision, its primary display promises vivid images and captivating video playback.
Engineered for resilience, the device carries an IP48 rating, making it resistant to dust and limited water immersion. The Moto Razr 60 Ultra, which weighs only 199 grams, strikes a mix between mobility and high-end design.
Qualcomm’s smartphone is powered by its latest chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It is available in a single high-performance configuration with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The Razr 60 Ultra runs on Android 15 right out of the box and is guaranteed to receive three years of operating system updates and four years of security patches.
In terms of battery performance, the device houses a 4,700 mAh battery and comes bundled with a 68W fast charger. It also supports 30W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging, offering convenience for users on the go.
Camera capabilities are another strong suit, with the Razr 60 Ultra featuring a dual 50MP setup on the rear – one as the main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), and the other one acting as both an ultrawide and a macro lens at the same time. A 50MP front-facing camera takes care of selfies and video calls. The smartphone also incorporates Moto.ai, Motorola’s generative AI assistant, offering advanced AI-powered features to elevate user interaction.
Style-conscious customers can choose from Pantone-certified colors of Rio Red, Mountain Trail, and Scarab. Starting on May 21, the Moto Razr 60 Ultra, which costs for ₹89,999, will be sold through a number of channels, including Amazon, Reliance Digital, Motorola’s own website, and authorized retail stores in India.
