After the 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 GTS made their world debuts, Porsche India announced that reservations for these two models are now open. The 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 GTS pricing has also been revealed by the German high-performance vehicle maker, which is a part of the Volkswagen Group. While the new Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS is priced starting at 27,542,000 (ex-showroom), the new Porsche 911 Carrera is offered for 19,899,000 (ex-showroom).

Delivery of the Porsche 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera 4 GTS in India are anticipated to start at the end of this year, according to the automaker. But no specific month or day was mentioned by the company.

The brand-new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS now sports a hybrid drivetrain thanks to the automaker. It has two electric motors coupled to a 3.6-liter flat-six engine for power. The automobile is the first-ever road-legal 911 with an electrified mechanism thanks to its hybrid powertrain system. Peak power output for the new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is 533 horsepower, and maximum torque is 610 Nm. According to the manufacturer, the boxer engine alone produces about 480 horsepower and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. For more dynamic power creation, the electric motors use a high-voltage battery pack to supply energy. It has a maximum speed of 312 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in three seconds.

In contrast, a 3.0-liter flat-six boxer engine with twin turbochargers powers the Porsche 911 Carrera. This engine can produce a maximum torque of 450 Nm and a peak output of 392 horsepower. With the optional Sports Chrono package, the sports coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, a faster time. At its fastest, the sportscar can reach 294 kmph.
