As part of the downsizing trend, Infiniti replaced the V6 engine of the QX60 with a turbocharged four-cylinder for the upcoming model year. The 2.0-liter variable-compression engine powering the 2025 QX60 is the same as that of its smaller brothers, the QX50 and QX55.

This turbo four, mated to a nine-speed automatic, generates 268 horsepower and 286 lb-ft of torque despite its lower displacement. While there is a decrease in horsepower from the 295 hp of the departing V6, peak torque is increased.

On the other hand, efficiency has increased over the V6 model—at least theoretically. As opposed to the V6, which gets 21 mpg, 26 mpg, and 23 mpg in the city, FWD versions get 22 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg overall. Meanwhile, AWD models get 22 mpg in the city, 27 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg overall.

New Black Edition

The newest car available with such black accents is the 2025 Infiniti QX60, which comes with the new Black Edition Package.

This unique QX60 model features gloss black roof rails in addition to a pair of eye-catching 20-inch black wheels. The insignia and grille surround are covered in black components.

A new key fob with approach unlock and walkaway locking features will be included with all 2025 QX60 models, regardless of whether customers choose to purchase the Black Edition Package. Furthermore, a 17-speaker sound system will be included as standard equipment on QX60 Luxe models.

The QX60 has a ton more technology inside of it. For instance, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with SiriusXM radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto is standard on all variants. Additionally, Infiniti has fitted the SUV with ProPILOT Assist with Navi-link compatibility for single-lane highway driving, a Smart Rear View Mirror, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Rear Automatic Braking, and High Beam Assist are some of the other important safety features.

What is the price of it?

The base Pure model of the new model costs $50,200, which is $550 more than the base 2024MY V6 model. The Luxe model costs $56,800, or an additional $1,900 if the Black Edition Package is chosen. The QX60 Sensory, which starts at $59,100, is positioned above the Luxe, while the QX60 Autograph, which costs $66,150, is the most expensive model.
