Even more important than display quality, cameras and battery life are likely the two most important factors to smartphone purchasers. One of the most significant uses for smartphones is taking pictures, yet even the most potent smartphone can be ruined by an incredibly short battery life. In actuality, a device’s battery will run out faster on the more powerful models. Although the evolution of batteries has not kept pace with that of smartphones, the technology for charging them have advanced significantly. Super-fast charging speeds were previously limited to expensive, high-end phones. However, the new Infinix NOTE 40 smartphones are opening up this technology and convenience to a younger, wider audience that values style as much as performance.
The batteries used in smartphones are essentially basically the same ones that have been for years, despite research and advancements aimed at improving their quality. Instead, to ensure that consumers spend as little time as possible plugged in, manufacturers have focused all of their efforts on accelerating the speed at which phones charge. The goal of Infinix’s new All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology is to improve consumers’ charging experiences by increasing speed and adaptability.
For the new Infinix NOTE 40 and NOTE 40 Pro (4G), this technology allows fast charging at 70W, and for the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro (5G) and NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G, it provides lightning-quick charging at 100W. These phones can reach 50% in a matter of minutes—six minutes for the Infinix NOTE 40 Pro+ 5G, to be exact—while maintaining durability and safety because of Infinix’s proprietary Cheetah X1 technology. Highlights of the charging process also include 20W wireless charging, Infinix’s own magnetic wireless charging technology called MagCharge, and Bypass Charging 2.0, which reduces heat generation when playing games while the phone is plugged in.
The Infinix NOTE 40 series is aimed at a younger demographic that values a brighter and more distinctive look than the majority of phones available in gray, black, or even white. Because of this, Infinix used an urban concept while designing the phone, giving it a sleek and contemporary look with rounded edges, muted hues, and high-quality materials. For instance, the Vintage Green employs vegan leather to provide a touch of luxury to the finish while attempting to conjure a sense of charm for older fashions. Titan Gold’s use of blue and yellow is an attempt to depict the sun sinking over the horizon of the city.
The Infinix NOTE 40’s hardware consists of mid-range MediaTek CPUs with either 8 or 12GB of RAM. This series’ four models are all equipped with a 108MP primary camera, but only the Pro models add optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, the company unveils the AI-driven Active Halo lighting feature, which adds accents and dynamic notifications to liven up your smartphone usage. This month, the Infinix NOTE 40 series, which comes in Titan Gold, Obsidian Black, and Vintage Green hues, launches worldwide. Later this year, a limited-edition BMW DesignWorks Racing Edition will be released to further highlight the phone’s lightning-fast charging capabilities.
