Motorola has been actively expanding its lineup recently, with new releases such as the Edge 50 Ultra and the Razr 50 series. Now, the company is preparing to introduce a new device to the Indian market, with leaks already surfacing ahead of the official launch.

The latest rumor suggests that Motorola is set to unveil the Edge 50 Neo, a successor to the Motorola Edge 40 Neo (2023). According to leaks reported by 91Mobiles and tipster Paras Guglani, the Edge 50 Neo will feature a 6.4-inch pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU for enhanced graphics performance. This chipset was previously seen in the recently launched CMF Phone 1 in July 2024.

The upcoming Edge 50 Neo is expected to boast a robust camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP secondary lens, and a 10MP additional camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone will come equipped with a 32MP front-facing camera. The device will be supported by a 4,310 mAh battery and will offer up to 256GB of internal storage. It will run on Hello UI, which is based on the latest Android 14 operating system.

Additional features of the Edge 50 Neo include IP68 water and dust resistance, NFC capabilities, and Bluetooth 5.3. Although Motorola has not yet disclosed the official pricing for the Edge 50 Neo, it is expected to be in a similar price range to its predecessor, the Edge 40 Neo, which is priced at Rs 22,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and Rs 24,999 for the 12GB RAM version.

With its promising specifications and features, the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is poised to be a competitive option in the mid-range smartphone market. As the launch date approaches, further details and official announcements are anticipated, offering a clearer picture of what this new device will deliver to prospective buyers.
